1. BACKTRACKING TO THE 2018 BIG DANCE: In last year's NCAA tournament, the Badgers advanced to the Sweet 16 for the second time in program history. After defeating Memphis and Hofstra in the first two rounds, Wisconsin was matched up with the No. 1 seed, Stanford, but the Badgers fell short, 2-0, ending their stride in the tournament.

2. WISCONSIN'S AWARDS: At the end of the regular season, eleven members of the Wisconsin women's soccer team were honored by the Big Ten Conference, including four headliners. Paula Wilkins received the Big Ten Coach of the Year, Camryn Biegalski was named the Big Ten Defender of the Year, Dani Rhodes was selected as Big Ten Forward of the Year, and Jordyn Bloomer was named the Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year. Additionally, nine Badgers were named to All-Big Ten teams and Payton Wesley was selected as the Sportsmanship Award Honoree.
3. KEEP ON DANCING: Hearing Wisconsin's name announced at the selection show on Monday marked the fourth consecutive bid for the Badgers, which has not occurred since their run from 1993-96. This marks the 22nd appearance for UW in school history and Paula Wilkins' eighth as head coach of the Badgers. Wisconsin holds an 18-20-2 all-time record in the big dance and a 4-3 record in its last seven NCAA games.
4. SCOUTING MILWAUKEE: The Panthers return to the NCAA tournament for the second-straight year and for the 13th time in school history. Milwaukee has had a stellar season, posting an undefeated record in the Horizon League and only suffered one loss in their overall schedule.

Milwaukee's leading goal scorer is Haley Johnson, recording 23 points off of nine goals and five assists, including two game-winners.

5. AGAINST THE PANTHERS: UW leads the all-time series with Milwaukee 21-5-7 and hold a 11-2-4 record against the Panthers in Madison. Despite matchups in the spring time, the last time UW and UWM have faced off in the regular season was during the 2016 season when the Badgers and Panthers battled to a 0-0 draw at McClimon.

Wisconsin and Milwaukee have played each other once in the NCAA tournament as UW earned a 2-1 win against the Panthers during the opening round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament in Milwaukee.
