Box Score EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Wisconsin men's tennis team made its first outing as an entire team last weekend at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in East Lansing, Mich.
Robin Parts and Sebastian Vile combined to go 3-1 over the weekend to lead the team. They dominated their matches and were able to advance to the semifinals against Justin Boulais and Robert Cash of Ohio State, the eventual runners-up, where their winning streak ended with a 6-4, 6-2 result.
Vile, Pratt, Daniel Nuzhny and Robin Parts all picked up singles wins.
Nuzhny was the only Badger to compete in the pre-qualifying round and represented Wisconsin well, winning all of his matches. He later went on to compete in the main draw, defeating Charalampos Fouzas of Youngstown State, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the Round of 32 and then falling to Ondrej Styler of Michigan, 6-3, 6-4.
