EAST LANSING, Mich. — Jared Pratt and Robin Parts led the Badgers with a 2-1 doubles record as the Wisconsin men's tennis team closed out its fall slate by competing in the Big Ten Individual Championships last weekend.

Pratt and Parts combined to advance to the quarterfinals of the East bracket by defeating the duos of Reed Crocker and Max Sheldon of Michigan State, 7-5, and Kweisi Kenyatte and Siphosothando Montsi of Illinois, 7-5, before falling to Patrick Fletchall and Ilya Tiraspolsky of Indiana. 6-2. 

In the West bracket, Daniel Nuzhny and Mihailo Popovic combined for a win over Graydon Lair and Jarreau Campbell of Michigan State after a first-round bye. They lost to Nick Williams and Kazuki Matsuno of Michigan State 7-6 (3) in a semifinal match. 

Vile, Pratt, Nuzhny, Parts and Mihailo Popovich all recorded one singles match win. Gabriel Huber was the lone Badger to not participate due to injury, though Parts and Tim Dzhurinsky also were limited by injuries during the competition. 

Up Next: 
The Badgers will resume play on Jan. 21, when they host North Dakota for the first match of their spring season. The match will be held at Nielsen Tennis Stadium and first serve will take place at 5:30 p.m.
