The Badgers take their first road trip of the 2021 season

MADISON, Wis. -- Fresh off of winning its season-opening game against Iowa, the Wisconsin women's soccer team hits the road for a pair of Big Ten Conference games this weekend. UW will face Ohio State on Thursday in a 1 p.m. game in Columbus before facing Michigan on Monday at 10 a.m.

A live stream and live stats will be available for UW's game on Thursday against OSU while only live stats will be available for Monday's contest against the Wolverines.

1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers opened their 2021 spring campaign with a 1-0 win over Iowa at the Mercyhealth Sportscore Two complex in Loves Park, Illinois. Claire Odmark scored her first career goal in the 10th minute that proved to be the game-winning strike. Thanks to the win, UW extended its Big Ten regular-season unbeaten streak to 13 games.

2. WILKINS ON TOP: Thanks to the Badgers' win, Paula Wilkins became the winningest coach in program history with her 152nd win, passing Dean Duerst for the top spot in school history. Wilkins has a 152-80-40 record in 14 years at the helm of the Badgers' program and has led UW to three NCAA Sweet 16 appearances.

3. ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR BLOOMER:  Senior goalkeeper Jordyn Bloomer earned a pair of milestones on Saturday as she earned her 20th career shutout, becoming the ninth Badger to record 20 or more shutouts. In addition, Bloomer, a 2019 first-team All-American and a 2020 Mac Hermann Trophy Watch List honoree, collected her 30th win during UW's season-opening triumph.

4. LAST TIME VS. OHIO STATE/MICHIGAN: Wisconsin earned a 2-1 win against Ohio State on Oct. 30, 2019 after the Badgers clinched the Big Ten title outright in their previous game. Cameron Murtha scored the opening goal in the ninth minute before OSU scored seconds later to even the game at 1-1. Dani Rhodes scored the game-winning goal in the 16th minute to seal UW's undefeated run in Big Ten Conference play.

The Badgers blanked Michigan, 2-0, on Oct. 3, 2019 thanks to a pair of goals from Dani Rhodes. UW dominated play, outshooting the Wolverines 10-4 and had eight corner kicks to the Wolverine's four.

5. NEXT UP: The Badgers return to Loves Park, Illinois for a pair of games at the Mercyhealth Sportscore Two complex. UW will host Illinois on Thursday, March 4 in an 11 a.m. contest before facing Purdue on Monday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
