UW looks to extend two-game winning streak this weekend

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin women's soccer team finishes regular-season play at Minnesota on Saturday at 1 p.m. Fans can watch the game live on Big Ten Network+ or follow the action live on Twitter (@BadgerWSoccer).

1. LAST TIME OUT: UW swept Maryland and Rutgers in their final home stand of the season last week. Against Maryland, sophomore Emma Jaskaniec scored her third goal of the season in the seventh minute and senior Cameron Murtha followed up with a score in the 11th minute. In UW's regular-season home finale against Rutgers, the game was held scoreless until the 87th minute until Jenna Kiraly found the back of the net for the first time this season in the Badgers victory over the 19th-ranked Scarlet Knight.

2. KEEPER OF THE WEEK: After marking her 25th and 26th shutouts of her career, senior Jordyn Bloomer was named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week. In the 2-0 victory over Maryland, she had five saves and in the 1-0 win over No. 19 Rutgers, she tallied six saves.
