Box Score CLEMSON, S.C. — The Wisconsin men's tennis team's fall season continued last weekend with half of the roster traveling down to Clemson, South Carolina, to compete in the Clemson Invitational. 
 
Program veterans Gabriel Huber and Mihailo Popovic were accompanied by newcomers Michael Minasyan and Zachary Schwartz for their trip down south.
 
During the three-day tournament, the Badgers tallied 10 total wins, including a pair of two-set singles wins each for Huber and Popovic. Huber defeated Jonas Hartenstein of North Florida 6-3, 7-5 on day one before beating Clemson's Spencer Whitaker 6-3, 6-3. Popovic got his wins over Ivan Dreycopp of Charlotte 6-0, 6-1, the first Badger win of the tournament, and Matt Carroll from North Florida 6-2, 6-3. 
 
Minasyan, the lone freshman on the roster, had a dominant debut for Wisconsin with three singles wins, a team-high for the weekend. In doubles, he combined forces with Huber and Schwartz for one win in each pair, taking down Ivan Dreycopp and Brett Garcia (Charlotte) 6-2 and Bruno Vietri Matt Carroll (North Florida) 6-3. 
 
Up Next: The team travels to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the ITA All-Americans, Saturday through Oct. 9.
