MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's soccer team (6-1-3) is set to take on Michigan State on Sunday, Sept. 24, at the McClimon Soccer Complex. Kick off is scheduled for 3 p.m. (CT).

Here are five things to know:

1. KNOW THE OPPONENT: The Badgers are a dominant 31-4-2 all-time against Michigan State, which includes a record of 15-1 at home. The last time the two sides faced was on Sept. 23, 2021, in East Lansing, resulting in a 1-0 win for the Badgers. Wisconsin is currently on a 12-game win streak against the Spartans.

Michigan State is the reigning Big Ten Champion and has a record of 6-2-2 on the season. The Spartans are coming off a 3-1 conference win against Minnesota this past Thursday.

2. POWER OF US GAME: Not only is Sunday's match a huge conference meeting, it is also the inagural Power of Us Game. Throughout the year, teams across the department will be hosting Power of Us games to celebrate diversity and inclusion within our Wisconsin Athletics community.

These games will provide student-athletes the opportunity to share their stories and experiences at the respective games. Staff members are encouraged to bring their families and spend time in the hospitality area.

3. RECAPPING THE WEEK: Wisconsin had an impressive 1-0 win against RV Iowa on Thursday to extend its undefeated record in conference play. Emma Jaskaniec connected with Aryssa Mahrt off a cross, with Mahrt heading it into the back of the net. Despite the wet conditions, the Badgers pushed through, and secured the win against a previously undefeated Hawkeyes side.

4. HOW TO FOLLOW: The match will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network. Follow Wisconsin women's soccer on X (@BadgerWSoccer) and Instagram (@badgerwsoccer) for in-game updates and content throughout the week.

5. UP NEXT: Wisconsin hits the road to face Minnesota in a rivalry game on Thursday, Sept. 28. The match will take place in Minneapolis, with kick off scheduled for 6 p.m. (CT).
