1. LAST TIME OUT
Wisconsin split their series against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Nov. 15 and 16 in Columbus. The Badgers won game one 4-2 as Lacey Eden helped the Badgers complete the four-goal comeback. Laila Edwards recorded three assists and Casey O'Brien found a goal and an assist on the night. The victory extended the Badgers win streak to 13 — the third longest streak to open a season in Badger women's hockey history.

The Badgers suffered their first loss of the season 3-2 in game two. The Buckeyes took a 2-0 lead in the first period and the Badgers strung together two power-play goals which weren't enough to catch Ohio State who added a tally in the meanwhile to take the game 3-2.

Friday's win marked the first time the Badgers won in Columbus since Nov. 28, 2020.

5. MILESTONE WATCH

Wisconsin co-captains Casey O'Brien and Caroline Harvey are closing in on significant personal and school milestones. Harvey is now one point away from 100 career points. The Salem, New Hampshire, native would become the fifth Badger blueliner to record 100 career points. Harvey has also put together 14 back-to-back games with a point to start the season.

O'Brien earned her 136th career assist against OSU which places her two helpers away from matching Sara Bauer's school record of 138 assists.
