REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. -- The No. 15 Wisconsin men's rowing team competed in Day 1 of the Pac-12 Invitational on Saturday.
The Badger men took on top-ranked California and No. 8 Stanford in the first, second and third varsity on the first day.
UW's top boat finished within three seconds of Stanford, with the second boat finishing within six seconds to highlight the first day's performances.
The Badgers get back on the water to finish up more early-season racing with competition against No. 20 Oregon State.
