MADISON, Wis. – No. 21 Wisconsin women's soccer returns home to host Central Michigan on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. The game will be streamed on B1G+.

1. Wilkins at the helm
Head coachÂ
Paula Wilkins is in her 19th season at Wisconsin as the winningest coach in program history with a 205-106-61 record. She ranks second in the Big Ten in career victories (324) and second in conference titles (8).
2. Veterans and newcomers
The Badgers return a strong veteran core with graduate studentsÂ

Adee Boer leading the way. Ishaug and Martinez were recently named to the Big Ten Players to Watch list. In total, 22 players are back from last year's squad. Wisconsin also welcomes six newcomers this fall: freshmenÂ

3. Last time out
Wisconsin triumphed 1-0 over the UIC Flames in their first road test of the season.
Anya Gulbrandsen gave the Badgers the advantage off an assist from
Brooke Allen in the 60
th minute. Veteran goalkeeper
Drew Stover recorded her first shutout of the season and 10
th of her career. The Badgers outshout the Flames 13-2 overall, including a 4-2 edge in shots on goal and a 6-2 advantage in corners.
4. Scouting the Chippewas
The Badgers last faced Central Michigan in the 2011 season were the Chippewas came out on top. This season CMU is 0-2 having most recently faced Loyola Chicago.
