MADISON, Wis. - After two-straight double overtime 0-0 draws, the Wisconsin women's soccer team (8-2-3 overall, 2-1-3 Big Ten) is hitting the road for a three-match road trip. The first two matches will take place this weekend in Indiana, starting at Indiana University.

1. QUICK LOOK BACK: UW hosted Rutgers and Maryland this past weekend. Both matches took advantage of all 110 minutes and ended in a double-overtime 0-0 draw. The Badgers were out shot in both contests but held the corner advantage in both. 


2. SENIOR CELEBRATION: Wisconsin declared Sunday's Maryland game, "Senior Day" and held a celebration before the beginning of the match to recognize and celebrate the Badgers' eight seniors. Emily Borgmann, Jamie Donohue, Alexis Tye, Steph Fabry, Grace Quirk, Katharine Torchio, Chloe Knudtson and Natalie Jacobson were all greeted by their parents, siblings, or friends and presented flowers from a teammate. 

3. ROAD MARKS: The Badgers have thrived on the road this season, posting a 5-1-0 record in 2018. Wisconsin has shut out one opponent in those six games and not been shutout itself. The team has also outscored opponents on the road 11-6.

4. SCOUTING INDIANA: The Hoosiers post a 6-4-2 overall record and a2 2-3-0 conference mark. Indiana is 0-3 in its last three conference matches, suffering losses to Nebraska, Iowa and Purdue. All three matches were on the road and two of three went into double overtime. The Hoosiers have been shutout twice and shutout opponents three times. Abby Allen leads the Hoosiers in points with 20, coming from seven goals and six assists. Allen has logged 39 shots in 2018.


5. SCOUTING THE BOILERMAKERS: Purdue holds a 6-3-3 overall record in 2018, going 1-2-2 in Big Ten competition in 2018. The Boilermakers have played three ranked opponents this season, going 1-1-1 in the contests. Purdue has shutout opponents four times this season and been shutout twice. Kylie Hase is Purdue's points leader, posting 12 points coming from six goals. Hase got off 23 shots with a .216 shot percentage.
