MADISON, Wis. – The No. 2 Wisconsin women's hockey team continues its six-game homestand with a non-conference series against Princeton. Puck drop on Friday is set for 7 p.m. and the game can be seen live on Fox Sports Wisconsin Plus while the series finale on Sunday begins at noon.

Parking for Friday's game is free in Lot 91 while parking for Sunday's contest is available in Lots 29, 46 and 91 for $5.

1. BIG TIME CONTRIBUTOR: Sophomore Natalie Buchbinder was named WCHA defenseman of the week after a three-point performance in UW's sweep of Minnesota-Duluth last weekend. Buchbinder is the second Badger to earn the award this year as teammate Mekenzie Steffen won the award last week. The sophomore defenseman was instrumental to Sunday's win as she scored her first goal of the season midway through the first period to ignite UW's offense in a 3-1 victory over UMD.

2. TV TIME: Friday's game marks the first time this year the Badgers will appear on television as their matchup against the Tigers can be seen live on Fox Sports Wisconsin Plus and Fox Sports College Atlantic. Long-time UW men's hockey announcer Paul Braun will handle play-by-play duties while Bill Brophy will provide color analysis. The game can also be seen online via Fox Sports Go and the Fox Sports Go App.

3. REUNIONS: There will be plenty of celebrations this weekend as the Badgers will honor their 2008-09 NCAA title team. That historic team featuring future Olympians Meghan Duggan, Hilary Knight, Erika Lawler and Jessie Vetter led the Badgers to a 34-2-5 record, defeating Mercyhurst 5-0 in the NCAA championship game. The Badgers outscored their opponents 17-1 in the NCAA Tournament, including wins over Dartmouth and Minnesota Duluth on their way to the title.

On Sunday, UW will welcome back all of its former players as part of a celebration for the 20th season of Badger women's hockey. More than 50 players from across all the prior teams are expected back.

4. HOME DOMINANCE: Home is where the winning is for the No. 2 Badgers. UW has a 33-game unbeaten streak in LaBahn Arena, a feat that has allowed the Badgers to reach 100 career wins in the venue in just seven seasons. LaBahn Arena become one of the loudest venues in college hockey as UW has 15-straight sellouts and leads the NCAA in attendance.

5. TIES WITH THE TIGERS: Tigers and Badgers don't really cross paths in nature and have rarely faced off on the ice. The Badgers would have to look back to their inaugural season to find a matchup with Princeton as the two squads battled to a 4-4 tie in 1999.

One Badger however has a lot of Badger-Tiger ties heading into this weekend. Kelly Nash, the current assistant coach for the Tigers, is one of the members of the UW 2008-09 NCAA championship squad that is visiting this weekend. Nash scored an unforgettable goal in overtime in the 2011 WCHA Final Faceoff title game to give UW a 5-4 win over Minnesota at Ridder Arena. UW overcame 3-0 and 4-2 deficits to win its fourth league tournament title.
