MADISON, Wis. – The No. 1 Wisconsin women's hockey team will remain at home during the Thanksgiving weekend as the Badgers will welcome Harvard to LaBahn Arena. Puck drop on Friday is set for 7 p.m. while Saturday's contest will begin at 8 p.m., an hour later than originally scheduled.

Friday's game is sold out, while a limited amount of tickets remain for Saturday's contest.

Parking is free both days in Lot 91 two hours prior to puck drop.  However, fans should expect limited parking in Lot 91 on Saturday due to the UW football game against Minnesota and extra traffic before puck drop.

1. MINISTER OF DEFENSE: Junior goaltender Kristen Campbell was named the WCHA Goaltender of the Week after earning a pair of shutouts against Bemidji State last weekend. The Brandon, Manitoba, native has a .940 save percentage this season with just a 1.03 goals against the average in 14 outings this season. Her four shutouts not only pace the WCHA, but are tied for the NCAA lead. Campbell enters the weekend with a 191:32 shutout streak, which is the second-longest shutout streak of her career.

2. FAST STARTS: Head coach Mark Johnson always preaches about wanting a good start to a game, which is something UW has been able to accomplish this year. UW is outscoring its opponents 23-6 in the opening frame as its 23 goals pace the NCAA in the first stanza. Abby Roque leads all NCAA players in first-period points with 11 off four goals and seven assists as more than half of her points this year have come in the first 20 minutes (11-of-18). Sophie Shirley has scored six of her nine goals in the opening frame, including two in UW's 5-0 win over Bemidji State last Friday.

3. TOP-TIER COACHES: Wisconsin's Mark Johnson and Harvard's Katey Stone are two of the best coaches in NCAA college hockey. Johnson, the winningest coach in NCAA collegiate women's ice hockey, has 472 wins to his credit while Stone, the third-winningest coach in NCAA collegiate women's ice hockey, has 465 triumphs heading into this weekend's series. Both coaches have experience with Team USA as Johnson led the U.S. to silver at the 2010 Winter Olympics while Stone helped the U.S. earn silver at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

4. WE HAVE HISTORY WITH HARVARD: The Badgers have the upper-hand when it comes to the series between UW and Harvard, winning five of the six games in the series dating back to Wisconsin's inaugural season. Some of the most memorable games in UW's program history have come against the Crimson.

In 2007, the two teams met in an NCAA quarterfinal at the Kohl Center and Jinelle Zaugg scored in the fourth overtime to lead UW to a 1-0 win.

The most recent meeting came in 2014 as the Badgers won their first NCAA playoff game at LaBahn Arena thanks to a 2-1 triumph against the Crimson.

5. HOME COOKING: The Wisconsin women's hockey team's offense has definitely become comfortable in its home, LaBahn Arena since its opening in 2012. Since that time, the Badgers offense has out-scored opponents at home a whopping 483-107, including a 35-10 advantage in their 10 home games this season.
