Biloxi, Miss. — The Wisconsin men's golf team completed the first round of play at the 2024 Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational on Saturday, led by freshman
Charles Erlandson who finished the day tied for fourth overall.
As a team, the Badgers finished the first day shooting a 14-over par 302.
Erlandson shot 1-under par 71 to complete his first day in fourth place individually. The freshman from Verona, Wisconsin, was one of only twelve golfers to finish the first round scoring under par.
